Term dates

Each year an event called Move It Dance runs in London.  It is a big event where you can speak to representatives from vocational dance schools across the UK, watch leading performances, look around several dance stalls from shops such as Bloch, Capezio and Dance Direct, as well as being able to book on to classes with current and inspiring people in the industry.

We aim to run ISTD examinations each academic year in Tap and/or Modern.  When dancing a Graded class the students learn and practise sequences and exercises from a syllabus.  They can then take an exam in this before progressing to the next stage.  More information on ISTD exams can be found here.

We run a main show every two years in the city of Winchester.  This is where both Sarker Danceworks and Sally Stanyard School of Dance come together to create a showcase of all the dancers who attend classes with us.  It is a great performance opportunity for the students and gives the chance for family and friends to see what they have achieved in their dance development with us.
