This free work Adult Tap class is aimed at dancers working at approximately ISTD Grade 5 to Advanced level and is perfect for experienced tappers wanting to get their time steps flowing again! Whether you trained in Tap as a child, took exams years ago or simply miss the feeling of making rhythms with your feet, this class gives adults the opportunity to continue developing their Tap technique in a fun, energetic and supportive environment. Classes include faster-paced exercises, more complex rhythms, musicality work and technical challenges taught to a variety of music styles, helping dancers continue building stamina, co-ordination, strength and performance quality whilst reconnecting with the joy of Tap Dance. Based around ISTD Grade 5 to Advanced level vocabulary, this class also incorporates additional rhythms, exercises and free work combinations to keep classes exciting, challenging and musically rewarding. Tap Dance is not only fantastic for fitness and cardiovascular health, but is also one of the best dance styles for improving co-ordination, concentration and brain function — all whilst having lots of fun and making plenty of noise along the way!
